Why are we here on this earth? ? What is the purpose of this life? Why do we need to become successful? What is a success? Why do we need to work hard? Why?… [Question 1]
As an entrepreneur, you have taken the leap of faith to start a ‘successful’ venture and thereby you wish to achieve 'success in life'. You might have different opinions of ‘success’. You might or might not resonate with either one of the following.
- To have achieved Financial Freedom Make much money until you are able to do the things you love the most Eg: Traveling, Donating to charities
- To have successfully followed a principal/religion.
- To have been able to help people in need.
- To have been able to make the world a better place.
Sometimes you might not resonate with the above and you are just enjoying the journey of life without a direction.
You might be in different phases in the entrepreneurial journal. You would have just started; You would have tried different things and still want to find that one thing that works for you; You would be in a state of giving up and starting again.
The fallacy is such that you might be wondering what is the right time to give and not give up. [Question 2]
Are you going to give up?
What is this entrepreneurial journey is all about? Do we have to take it seriously? Do we have to work 24/7? Does it pay off? Does it challenge all your insecurities? [Question 3]
I want you to ponder upon this.
What is the difference between actively being busy and passively being busy?
Can you continuously learn without giving a thought about learning? Can you actually get a work done without (actively) working on it? Where do you need to spend most of your time? How do you optimize the time you spend on a task?
What is wrong with working too hard? What is wrong with hustling too much?
[ hard-work => success; too much hard-work != success]
You can’t connect the dots looking forward
“You can’t connect the dots looking forward;
Take a step back. Let’s face the reality as it is. Create the environment for serendipity to take place. That’s all that you need to be thinking about.
Whether you are an entrepreneur or not, what you need to do is is continuously improve yourself (learn) and what you deserve is serendipity.
I’ll tell you a secret which I figured in the last 3 months.
Humans are just multi-core machines with only one core controlled by your thoughts.
Confused? I will speak about the practical experience of this phenomenon in a different article.
Train your subconscious mind
Here are a few things to always remember
- Be high on life
- Make it a point to always interact with society (because whatever your business is, the end customer is the society around you)
- Spend a good time doing what you enjoy (This makes sure that your mind is relaxed and it is not burnt out)
I have been a pessimistic person all my life. I always think about what can go wrong and I would work on building a solution for it. Something clicked me. I remembered that I deserve serendipity.
I stopped worrying about what can go wrong and I left the future to it. I stopped over-optimizing my decisions and actions. Trust me this feeling is gooooood.
When you know everything’s going to be alright ✌️
The best way to predict is to be aware of your activities. Be aware and notice the environment for serendipity that you are making. Remember it's all about small wins. It’s all about creating bliss and pure thoughts in your mind.
Good things take time, you need to work hard. but you don’t essentially need to work hard too much. You need to be consistent in what you are doing and you need to be aware of what is happening.
I would like to hear from you what do you think about it? If you were able to reflect on it, feel free to share your experience. If you think that this will not work, please share those experiences as well.
You deserve serendipity!
